Welcome to HUBS. We are a not-for-profit member organisation that exists to help community networks get connected to the internet. For our members, we deal with IPv4 and IPv6 resource allocations, RIPE database entries along with the more practical side of things like leased lines and internet transit.
We primarily help communities in Scotland, with members from the highland and islands in the North West down to the Scottish Borders. Our main internet exchange point is in Edinburgh and we can usually take connections from any of our existing points of presence and work with you if we need to extend our reach.
We don’t typically deal with end user connections, the focus is on getting backhaul connections to communities and let the locals deal with their own distribution network.
